Spirit Leaf, Brooks’ first retail cannabis store, is set to open tomorrow, November 10, 2018 at 10 a.m. is located at 715 2nd Street West (the strip mall housing Fruitas and Divine Nails).

Kevin and Krista Carslon are the owners of the new franchise and are long-time residents of Brooks. Krista was born and raised here and together they’ve called Brooks home for the past 11 years. This husband and wife team are immersed in the community raising their two young children. They are former owners of BRK Equipment Rentals – a family run businesses operating in the community for over 25 years.

Krista and Kevin decided to open a cannabis store to capitalize on the emerging industry and believe the products will be beneficial to residents. They are excited to back and operating a business in Brooks and the new store will be employing 6 people.
